Hours after the killing of one unidentified militant in Pampore gunfight, another militant surrendered sources said. Reliable sources told Kashmir Despatch that the militant responded to the surrender appeals and was apprehended by joint team of security forces in Meej area of Pampora.
Sources in police department told Kashmir Despatch that his family was taken to the spot, who along with Police and Army repeatedly asked him to surrender and after hectic efforts, he accepted the offer and surrendered before the forces. Sources further added that the militant who surrendered is a local militant who recently had joined militant ranks.
