Jammu: Continuing its drive against drug peddlers, Police patrolling Party of Police Station Udhampur apprehended one drug peddler and recovered 15 grams of heroin like substance.
Police patrolling Team of PS Udhampur led by Insp. Vijay Singh Choudhary SHO PS Udhampur. During patrolling at Dhar Road near District Hospital Udhampur, Police party caught one suspected person who was trying to hide himself from police party for checking
During search of said person, 15 grams of heroin like substance was recovered from the narcotic smuggler namely Rahildeep @Rahil S/O Gopal Krishan R/O W.No. 05 Barrian, Udhampur.
Police team of PS Udhampur arrested the accused person on spot and also seized recovered heroin .
In this connection, A Case FIR NO. 505/2020 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act at PS Udhampur and further investigation is underway.
