Gharota Police today arrested a notorious land grabber (Sarpanch) under Public Safety Act pursuant to a detention order issued by the District Magistrate Jammu.
The arrested person has been identified as Prabhaker Singh alias Showki (Sarpanch).
He was involved in land grabbing and several cases registered.
A team headed by SHO Gharota Mahesh Sharma under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Varun Jandial, SP Rural Jammu Sanjay Sharma and SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil arrested the accused today under PSA and detained him in Kot Bhalwal Jail.
