A Division Bench of the J&K High Court comprising Chief Justice Gita Mittal and First Puisne Judge Justice Rajesh Bindal has taken cognizance of PIL filed through Advocate Ajay Gandotra and after hearing Sugandha Sawhney petitioner appearing in person (through video-conferencing) issued notice to the Chief Secretary as well as FC Health and Medical Education J&K Government for filing status report in the matter of seeking directions to Chief Secretary J&K and Financial Commissioner Health and Medical Education to issue a policy for imposing blanket ban upon private practice by Government doctors in J&K.
