Coronavirus Update in India: The number of Coronavirus cases in India jumped to 2,153,011 as the country reported 64,399 new infections on Sunday. The death toll reached 43,379, according to the Health Ministry.
The five most affected states by a total tally of cases are Maharashtra (490,262), Tamil Nadu (279,144), Andhra Pradesh (206,000), Karnataka (158,254), and Delhi (142,723).
Globally the cases from the deadly infection rose to 19,794,206 with the figures crossing 5.1 million marks in the United States.
